The Solaris 10 8/07 Operating System can be installed from a single DVD which is included in the Solaris 10 8/07 media kit. Other Sun software is provided on DVD as well so it is recommended to update systems with a CD-ROM drive to a DVD drive. When customers prefer to obtain the software via download they can choose between downloading CD images or a DVD image and then subsequently burn a set of CDs or a DVD. Customer who need the software on CD and have no capabilities to download can purchase a Solaris 10 8/07 CD-R kit.
The Solaris 10 8/07 CD-R kit contains 6 CDs:

- Solaris 10 8/07 Operating System CD 3
